Things that should make you sign up for your local gym tomorrow(and things you shouldn't be scared of)

If you have been postponing your first day at the gym for weeks or even months now, its time to keep reading!

Either being scared of those super muscular guys laughing at you and your mini dumbbells or those bed sheets not allowing you to wake up in the morning, here are just a FEW reasons why you should wake up earlier than usual tomorrow and sign up for that gym you've been thinking of for days.

IMPROVING YOUR PHYSIQUE.

This is one of the first things that comes to mind and probably the most obvious when you start thinking of going to the gym for the first time or re-activating "that fitness" inside your body that now has some rust in it.
and YES believe it or not, going to the gym and being constant will improve your physique more than you can ever imagine (posting about it on facebook wont do much though).
When you start hitting the gym daily and putting all the effort you have, there, feeling the pain of those last reps, feeling those last breaths on that treadmill, sweating like you have never been sweating before, you finally come to your senses and start counting those calories on your meals. Something starts kicking you inside, and will do anything it takes to start lifting those heavier dumbbells and adding that extra 2 lbs. plate on your bar.
Then one day you wake up and finally see someone different on that mirror next to your bathroom before that post-workout shower, and yes! that's you! in a different body,
When you start hitting the gym constantly and you begin controlling your diet, your physique will undoubtedly start changing towards your goals. Weather you are looking to be the most muscular guy in your group of friends or losing that extra weight you have been carrying on you for years, dreaming about that golden medal being placed on you on that fitness show, starting your workout routine tomorrow is the first step towards your physique goals.
**DISCLAIMER: Everything related to losing weight, adding muscle and fitness in general is all about being persistent, and hard work, so even if it sounds cliche, never give up ! and don't get disappointed if you don't see results as fast as you expected, some bodies react to exercise better than others, but worry about yourself, you'll make it!

BETTER MOOD.

It is more than proven that exercising releases hormones like serotonin and endorphins. This changes your mood in general after that exhausting workout and usually makes you see life more colorful and happy in general.
I workout before i run to my office and i can tell you, instead of going to work with all that fatigue and negative mentality associated with "i have to go to work", my attitude completely changes, in fact i have achieved lots of successes and a lot more mental clarity to solve problems due to this happiness and general "feel good" mood. Plenty of my gym friends are always looking to achieve better things in life in general, most of them are working and some of them are living their dream, the mood and life of people constantly working out is way different in there.
It doesn't matter if you workout early in the morning as a great way to start your day or maybe later at night after your work shift so it helps you release all that stress, as long as you complete your workout routine any time of the day will do! And trust me you'll feel great!

INCREASED SELF ESTEEM

Look good, feel good. That is pretty simple, having a sexier body than before, transforming completely, feeling those eyes turning around to see you in that tight shirt, definitely feels good and it is a really great way to increase self esteem, everyone close to you will sooner or later notice how far you have came and start asking how the hell did you make it, and for the people who don't know you, displaying your new "you" out there in public will make you feel like never before, as for yourself, pushing so hard to achieve something you have never done before is probably one of the most satisfying awards you can ever give to yourself in your life which is probably the most important thing to list on this benefit of exercising.

NO ONE WILL LAUGH AT YOU.

If you are that skinny guy that feels miserable next to the guy with the "Mr.Olympia" body or the chubby girl too scared to get on that spinning bike next to the very toned group of girls fear not!
There's  absolutely nothing to be scared OR ashamed of, none of these people will bite you, in fact, i can tell you some people (like me), whenever we see you ! gym newbies hit the gym for the first time, we have a smile inside of ourselves! for finally standing up from that comfortable couch or leaving those video games aside and finally be there with your sweaty and smelly pants! as for the others, trust me! they wont even turn around to see you there. Do not listen to everybody in the gym but you'll start realizing that a lot people in there are nice, and if you are doing your sets incorrectly or doing something without proper form, i can almost guarantee you ,someone experienced (weather he or she is a gym employee or not)  will come and correct you and sometimes offer you some valuable advice.(as i said you don't have to follow everything someone tells you but at least say thanks)
You can even ask around some tips from the veterans there and they'll gladly answer some of your doubts **Do not abuse this, some people don't want to get interrogated for half an hour by some newbie during their heavy routine, ask the person in charge of the weights room if you need help**

FIRST DAY ISN'T AS BAD AS YOU THINK.

Everything you look around is going to be unfamiliar, the guy grunting with those dumbbells on that corner over there, that awkward looking machine, the intimidating muscular gym instructor, hell even the receptionist might scare you , but don't be afraid, all of this is normal and you'll get used to it with the passing days, DO NOT get bored if the first few days you don't get to hit those biceps with the dumbbells all day or you want to destroy those glutes with an epic workout, you are more than likely going to have a circuit routine the first few days so you get to know all the machines and how they work and which muscles they are hitting, that combined with a some beginner free weight sets, this will also ensure you are doing everything properly and most importantly: avoid an injury, weights are something serious that are not meant to be used without proper knowledge and supervision at first.

There are plenty more GOOD reasons to list here and I'd probably end up with a HUGE post here, but so far so good, i can tell you there's nothing to be ashamed of or nothing to be scared of! joining your local gym tomorrow will impact your life now and in the future, more than you can ever imagine, there's all types of gyms for all sort of people and with all the hype fitness and health is receiving lately, you can be sure you'll find one very close to you, find one that suits you the best and sign up tomorrow!! its is never too late to start !
